As Communication and Government Relations Director, Judith oversees communications, messaging and marketing efforts for 180 Health Partners and serves as a resource on regulations and policy issues that impact our mothers, their babies and the support community.
Judith has experience in journalism, government and health policy and most recently worked as a consultant for a variety of academic, business and nonprofit clients. Previously, she served for seven-years with the Nashville Health Care Council as executive director of the Fellows initiative, a program to engage senior industry leaders to explore new business strategies to meet the challenging needs facing the U.S. health care system, and of Leadership Health Care, the Council’s membership program to foster the next generation of health care leaders.
She also served as an account executive with Hall Strategies, a Nashville-based public affairs and government relations firm. She was previously Tennessee Communication Director for the American Cancer Society. Judith also served as Legislative Director for a Massachusetts state senator and as a health policy associate for the Washington, D.C.-based Alliance for Health Reform.
Judith was editor of the Community Health Funding Report, a publication covering Congress, the White House and the U.S. Supreme Court, and was a news desk editor at the Press Association in London, England.
Judith holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from Samford University. She lives in East Nashville with her three daughters.
